Welcome to the Cincinnati Entrepreneurial Center Initiative (ECI)

The Entrepreneurial Center Initiative works with private, public and nonprofit resources to build strong, sustainable and successful minority businesses. The result will be wealth creation, job creation and better economic health in the minority and urban core communities of Greater Cincinnati.

What does the ECI do?

The Entrepreneurial Center Initiative's goal is to provide the necessary management skills that will enable minority entrepreneurs to take advantage of new business opportunities and qualify for financing that will lead to high level business growth through assessing the needs and capabilities of minority business owners in the Greater Cincinnati area. Aspiring and/or current business owners and entrepreneurs who qualify for the program will receive individualized management assistane designed to increase their business acumen and ability to operate their businesses on a profitable basis, increase their market share and offer living wage employment opportunities to area residents. They will be linked with resources, classes, training, and counseling that will help them grow to the next level of success. Each person contacting the ECI will receive an initial assessment of their needs. Then they will be matched to the appropriate resource and/or service that meets those needs.
