Start-Up Wednesday: Session 2: Steps to Register My Business

The Business Development & Entrepreneurship at Urban League partnered with Central State University’s Workforce Training & Business Development Center to provide a series of workshops that aims to educate, support, and provide accessibility to the black and brown community in the Dayton area to start small businesses.

Start-Up Wednesdays are designed for individuals with marketable skills to freelance for extra income while planning and becoming small business owners. We aim to assist individuals by taking their creativity from a vision to reality! These sessions aim to bring an idea or hobby to the next stage by giving you the nuts and bolts of beginning a successful business in Ohio.

The sessions:

  • Session 1: Planning to Start a Business Series Wednesday, March 22nd, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
  • Session 2: Steps to Register My Business Wednesday, April 19th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
  • Session 3: Business Legal Structures Wednesday, May 17th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
